Benefice Fun Run - 19th September 2010
On Sunday 19th September about 50 people took part in our Fun Run/Walk in aid of The Children’s Society and our two church buildings. The route was about 12.5KM. Most people ran, a few walked and one or two cycled. Two people actually ran the route with everyone else and immediately turned around and ran it again in the other direction! We haven’t collected in all the money yet but we expect that more than £3,000 has been raised. It was such good fun that we are planning to repeat the event next year and maybe develop it a little, so start training now!
