Confirmation Classes
Bishop Andrew is coming to take a Confirmation Service in our Benefice in the morning of Sunday 13th May. We will be running Exploring Christianity Groups for adults and youngsters for those in our churches who might like to be Confirmed. There will be a group for adults which will meet on Monday evenings beginning late in March and there will also be a group for youngsters (11-13 years). There will be a short meeting in the Parish Centre on Sunday 26th February at 12.15pm for youngsters and their parents to come to hear a little about the course and to try and work out the best time for the group to meet. There is an information sheet at the back of church for interested adults – please take one if you want to do a bit of thinking and exploring. |

Lent Course Housegroups
Ash Wednesday is on 22nd February. We are organising Lent Housegroups to meet for the five weeks of Lent. We have found a very interesting and stimulating book to study which is based on the film, The King's Speech. Do make joining a Lent Housegroup a priority this year, it's an excellent way to explore faith and to get to know people and the whole aim of the course we will be following is to make us more confident in speaking about faith. There are leaflets at the back of church with more information and a form to fill in if you would like to join a Lent Housegroup - do take one. |
