What needs to be doneTower?

Like most ancient buildings Holy Trinity Church suffers from a huge backlog of repair largely derived from well intentioned but inappropriate repair and maintenance over the years. Most significantly:

Bell Tower Stairs
Damage to stairs and walls will soon become dangerous and hazardous.

Restoration of walls and fabric
Extensive repair and maintenance has been carried out using cement-based mortars and plasters, materials which are inappropriate for the repair of historic buildings.

Lady Chapel Floor
There are a number of trip hazards to the floors; steps and loose and/or damaged tiles, in particular in the area between
the vestry and Lady Chapel, and St Clements Chapel and the
south aisle.
